From Boyhood to Manhood Foundation
The aim of FBMF is to transform the lives of disadvantaged and disaffected young people to socially acceptable valued citizens through advancement of education, training or retraining and employing in income earning means.
Since its inception 14 years ago the organisation has helped approximately 50,000 young people directly in the UK and approximately 500,000 in partnership with other organisations nationally and internationally. 90% have gained academic qualifications and all have had the opportunity to re-assess their attitudes, behaviour and direction in life.
Retinitis Pigmentosa Helpline supports people and their families who are affected by this eye disease which is an hereditary, degenerative condition , for which there is no treatment or cure. Open from Monday to Friday from 9.30am until 9.30pm. Helps newly diagnosed people come to terms with their sight loss.
